Marc Josloff is an award-winning painter, photographer and art educator. He was schooled at Pratt Institute where he earned a BA in Advertising Design and an MS in Art Education. Mr. Josloff was featured in Watercolor Magic magazine (now Artist’s Magazine) as one of “11 Artists to Watch” and his work is part of many several prestigious collections, including the Art Students League of NY. In the last few years Marc Josloff has been called upon to judge both Art Exhibits and Photography competitions, and to give demonstrations and workshops in both disciplines for various art/photography organizations. He teaches drawing and painting at the National Art League in Douglaston. As a judge, he likes to see, in addition to media discipline, what the artist can bring to the artwork’s subject matter through his or her own sensitivity and creativity.
FOR OUR MARCH MEETING MARC WILL DISCUSS HIS WORK AS WELL AS THE WINNING ART WORK FOR EXHIBIT "GENERATION", WE WILL BE AWARDING CASH PRIZES AND CERTIFICATES and HONORABLE MENTION RIBBONS. REFRESHMENTS AND GREAT RAFFLES. WE WILL ALSO TALK ABOUT UPCOMING EVENTS and COLLECTING FOR RECYCLED ART SESSIONS WHICH WILL BE HELD IN MARCH, APRIL AND MAY. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
