DIRECTION & GRAPHIC DESIGN
Lisa L. Cangemi is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts,
with a BFA Honors and MFA Degree in Graphic Design, also with a minor
in Photography and Illustration.
Lisa established her own graphic design business, C&C Graphic Design,
in 1985. Her work involves art directing, designing and creating projects
for various companies, such as logos and corporate ID and logo applications,
brochures and promotional materials, magazine design and redesign, advertisements
& ad campaigns, computer illustration & icons, charts &
graphs, material for web sites, newsletters, book jackets and book interior
design, package design, posters, media kits, annual reports, trade show
booths, t-shirt design, card design and photography & illustration.
Lisa’s art direction & design work has won over 3 dozen industry
design awards. She is listed in, and has been awarded by Marquis Who’s
Who of American Women, Sterling Who’s Who, Cambridge Who's Who,
and Biltmore Who's Who for accomplishments & outstanding work in
a chosen field.

ART PAINTING
Lisa L. Cangemi is a painter, and participates in several
exhibitions at libraries and galleries in the TriState area each year.
She has been exhibiting her work since 1993, and has won several painting
awards in New York exhibitions. She is involved in various art groups
across Long Island. She is an active Board Member of the TriCounty Artists
of Long Island and a member of WEA. Lisa is one of the founding members
of the LHS Art Alumni Association and currently works as a chairperson
for the LHSAAA. Lisa is an adjunct Professor of Graphic Design &
Art at various colleges on L.I. She has been honored with a Alpha 2007
National Beta Kappa Award for teaching and expertise in graphic design.
Lisa is also a continuing-education instructor for art & design
classes in the Hewlett-Woodmere district.
